Free · SIL Open Font License

Newly added free fonts on the site default to the SIL Open Font License 1.1: free to use in personal and commercial work, free to modify and redistribute, can't be sold as a font by third parties.

Non-commercial, free for personal use

Free to download and use in personal projects, study and non-profit work, with no attribution required. Client work, products, advertising and anything else commercial needs a paid license from you, and the font page will say so plainly next to the download.

A link or an email address, whichever buyers should use.
Demo · try before you buy

A trial cut published for evaluation only: visitors may install it and try it in a sketch, but any real use, personal or commercial, requires buying the full license. Add the purchase link and the font page will carry a Buy license button next to the download.

Other terms

Write the terms as you want them to appear on the font page: who may use the font, for what, and what is not allowed. We publish them as given, or ask you before shortening anything.
